One of the benefits as well as requirements of membership in Royal Arcanum is that every Adult member shall have a minimum of $1,000 Life Protection, subject to underwriting requirements, in any one of several easily understood and comprehensive Whole Life or Limited Payment Plan Certificates, designed to fit the member's particular needs.

Whole Life Plans

Whole life plans are permanent protection for your loved ones that build cash value each year.

• Whole Life Certificates of Protection for male and female members, both Adult and Junior in a minimum of $5,000 and a maximum of $1,000,000

• Special Senior Certificate of Protection for $1,000, for male and female members ages 50 to 69 (last birthday).

• Special Whole Life Certificate of Protection for $1,000 for male and female members ages 25 to 49 (last birthday)

• Single Premium Whole Life This plan provides for a one-time payment for a whole life certifcate.

• Final Expense • For members age 50 to 85 last birthday
  • Whole life insurance with cash value
  • Limits for ages 50 to 75 are $5,000.00 to $25,000.00
  • Limits for ages 76 to 85 are $5,00.00 to $15,000.00
  • Easy, short application - The application contains only seven medical questions
  • Can be used to pay for burial expense or other final debts

• Graded Death Benefit Guaranteed Issue Plan • For members age 40 to 85 last birthday
  • Whole life certificates with cash value
  • Limits $5,000 to $15,000
  • If death occurs within the first certificate year the premiums are returned, in the second certificate year 50% of the face amount is paid, in the third certificate year 75% of the face amount is paid and death in the fourth certificat year the full face amount is paid
  • Each policy has an accidental death benefit clause included which provides that if death occurs in the first accidental bodily injury the death benefit will be increased to the full amount
  • Medical requiements are very limited. The application only contains a statement that the member is "not now confined to a bed, or in a hospital, clinic, rest or connvalescent home and has not been diagnosed or treated by a licensed medical doctor for AIDS o AIDS Related Complex"

In a Limited Payment Life Plan Certificate, the face amount of the Certificate is payable to a beneficiary upon the death of the member. Payments the member is required to pay are limited to a maximum period indicated in the title of the plan.

The Limited Payment Plans offered for the member's selection have a minimum of $3,000 and a maximum of $1,000,000 and are

• Term to Age 25 Certificate and Rider • For Juniors age 0 to15 years 11 months

  • Reasonable cost ranges from $10 a year to $34 a year (annual mode only)
  • Convertible to a premanent plan of insurance without evidence of insurability at any time before the anniversary date following the Member's 25th birthday
